I'm gonna say this slow, so even idiots like Dubya and McCain get it:
WE...ARE...NOT...AT...WAR...
We cannot BE at war with ideas. Only states. Not 'rogue' states. Not people. Not Religions. Only States or Countries. And even that takes a Declaration of War from Congress, which Dubya has been suspiciously NOT calling for. BECAUSE EVEN HE KNOWS IT'S DUMB AS FUCK TO SAY WE ARE AT WAR!!!
Until the US understands that tolerance and nternational aid will do more than any number of daisy cutters, the country is doomed. It's tragic and deplorable that the so-called leadership of the country cannot understand that some people won't be cowed and bullied into doing what we want. It BOGGLES MY MIND that the American electorate, supposedly the most privileged and powerful people in the world, does not rise up and DEMAND that someone instigate Impeachment proceedings against the Evil Halfwit who is doing everything he can to destroy the ENTIRE WORLD...
It makes me so angry I honest to God start crying. For me, for my culture, my country, the world. I just don't fucking get it.
