So there is a sad development that makes me sure that I am getting older...I got my hair cut today, as you do, and when finished it was clean, shorter, and I felt fine. Wifey thought it was fine, and there are no complaints.

Well, I was out cleaning the yard, and something happened. It was weird, but I thought nowt of it, until it happened again about 2 minutes later. I called out to Wifey and asked her, "I need you to be totally honest...Does the balding patch on my head with this new haircut look like a sunflower? Cuz two bees have landed on my head in the last 3 minutes..."

When she stopped laughing, she admitted that maybe, yes, it might.

Bloody age...

At least with your height, we don't have to worry about you blinding people with the reflected glare....

with his height he does not have to worry about anyone seeing the bald patch unless they are walking on a bridge above him, or have a handy pair of ladders -

of the subjest, but why are ladders called a pair ? hmmmmm. only one side has rungs on generally, so would that not be a pair?

I have never heard it called a 'pair' of ladders, actually....

You need a bags cut with the bags shears. One day you will let me. You dont like it, it will grow back (in places!). I like having no hair, its so much less hassle and costs nothing to get it cut, dont need shampoo etc! except I dont like it when I get sun burn.......

yes, that's great, but you have a semi-attractive head; mine has all sorts of bumps and ridges and gashes, and it does not suit the whole 'shaved' thing. I'm not that guy. I'm going the Richard Schiff route I think; when the patch overtakes my hair for good and there is nothing left at the front I am growing a thick, tight beard for the rest of my life.

The thing that is most odd to me is that my kids will not ever remember me with hair, whereas I have never known myself bald. To my dying day my mental picture of myself will be with hair. It's just strange to me.
